PAPER PUMPKIN - November - As Is & With A Twist

Good afternoon, stampers!
I apologize for not posting As Is cards yesterday. I wound up making an eye appointment for Bob. Since going anywhere is a distance to travel, we took care of other errands while we were out and didn't get home until almost 4. I'd been on the go since 5 a.m. and was just wiped. Happy to sit in my recliner and not do much of anything.

Today is a totally different story. Bob is off target shooting and I have the whole house to myself to get some things caught up/ done. So here we go!

As you saw in the video yesterday, here are the supplies I had to work with:

These first two cards are the As Is:

I really loved the country appeal of these items. For the With A Twist, I stuck to using just items from the kit. For the first set, I cut each of the two DSP panels in different configurations:

For the final two, I chose to cut one of the card bases down to form a base mat to build on. Then I set one on a Cherry Cobbler card base and the other on Very Vanilla. While the sentiment mats in the set were Whisper White, I wanted to pick up on what was more of a cream in the DSP:

The one on the right became a real oops as I had put the adhesive on the wrong side of the Crumb Cake mat so I trimmed the red plaid to match the adhesive outline as I could then tried to remove the excess. Using the eraser nor the embossing buddy helped a lot so I edged it with a Gold broad line paint pen by Craftsmart. Still not happy with the result but I like the overall card.

Bob is home for Thanksgiving - a rare occurrence with his job so I'm taking the next four days off. On Monday, I'll show you the Memories and More spread using this kit then Tuesday we'll kick off the Twelve Days of Christmas!

Creative Blessings!
