Day 3 and we are still featuring the Spooky Cat bundle and DSP.
I was inspired by my blog friend Angela over at Felix the Crafty Cat blog to make something I've not made before - a Z-fold card. These are incredibly simple to make with very little math involved. Thanks to her blog post, I am joining her in linking up at Crafty Cardmakers. Those ladies do some beautiful work!
So here's my card:
I used papers from the Spooky Night DSP pack against Basic Black cardstock. The whole is stamped in Basic Gray on Basic Black Then I stamped his eyes with the Whisper White. He is popped up with the new Mini Dimensioinals.
Here's the card opened up:
And here's a shot of the inside close-up:
I held the Everyday Label punch in place on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock then traced around the inside edge with the Basic Black Stampin Write marker. Then I punched the label out. this gave me a nice edge to the label mat.
The eyes and the sentiment I used on the inside of the card are one stamp in the set. I cut them apart (gasp!)
I hope you'll take time to visit some of the other creative folks at Crafty Cardmakers.
Until tomorrow... Creative Blessings!
