This card did come from a sketch but I failed to make the notation on my design sheet and can not find it on my sketch Pinterest board. Hmm.. If this sketch is familiar to you, please let me know so that I may give credit where credit is due. Thanks!
I chose a Whisper White A2 base so that the colors would pop.
You will need:
Designer Series Paper - 4-14/ x 1-1/2
Soft Sky - 4-1/4 x 1
Real Red and Whisper White scraps to die cut from.
From Real Red:
Die-cut 1 grill-work heart and 2 small hearts
From Whisper White:
Die-cut 1 intricate heart:
Using Soft Sky, stamp the floral heart image. Then with your scissors, cut the 2 sections apart at the apex and point of the heart so you have two pieces that look like this:
To assemble the card:
Drop down 1" from the top of your card and adhere the DSP strip. Then overlapping just a smidge, adhere the soft sky strip. Place the hearts as shown.
Before adhering the stamped heart at the bottom.. use the 'paint smear' stamp and Soft Sky ink, stamp in the bottom right corner. Then use Real Red ink to stamp your sentiment over top. Use 2 foam dimensionals to pop up the stamped heart.
