Lots of Banners

I was inspired by this sketch from Studio Calico:

Each banner is cut from a 1 x 1-1/4 piece of scraps from the Designer Series Paper - You will need 9

Unless you have a banner die that will fit, I always have a challenge finding that center point to cut into. This is where your grid paper pad comes in handy.

Square up your rectangle piece - aligning the bottom edge with one of the horizontal lines on your grid paper and centering on the darker center line. From this point, count up from the bottom to the third line (counting your bottom line as #1) then with your needle tool, pierce a small hole at that line in coordination with the darker vertical line. With your scissors, cut up to that hole from your bottom left and right corners. Perfect banner every time!

For this card I used:
Whisper White Base - A2 (4.25 x 5.5)

The sentiment mat:
Real Red - 4 x 3/4
Whisper White - 3-1/4 x 1/2

The banner points for the red mat are made the same as for the larger banners.

I chose the Love You Lots sentiment. Again, using your grid paper, find your center and stamp the sentiment in the middle first. Then stamp the sentiment again to the right and the left.

Please show us your cards by leaving a link in the comments. And we're happy to Pin them for you!
Creative Blessings! ~Kelly
