FESTIVE FRIDAY - Project Life - Christmas Cards - Part 1

Hello December 2016 Project Life
Holiday Catalog  Pg 31 (142004)

I've had several projects on my blog planning schedule for awhile. I've put Bob to occupy himself for a bit so I can get a few things done.

Don't let me scare you but there are approximately 100 days left until Christmas. If you take into mailing time into consideration, that's roughly only 8 weeks until you want to have your cards in the mail for a timely arrival.

Between family, friends, business contacts, I mail about 100 cards every year. So far, I have am about 75 cards shy. Hmmm  So if you're behind the line as I am, today's project will help get the ball rolling.. in a BIG way.

I first saw the idea of using Project Life cards on YouTube (do you think I can find the video now? Grr)  My first thought was, 'what a fast way to put cards together!' So I ordered the Hello December 2016 Project Life kit specifically for this post.

From the Project Life pack, there were possibilities for cards. Here is a sample I made from 2 of the card mats:

These are the same card - Front and Back. I made three cards from each one.

The card on the left includes DECEMBER printed on the card.  Here's the finished card:

I used the Project Life mat on the right for this card:

I stamped the bell with Versa Mark then embossed with the Red Embossing Glitter then raised it with a dimensional dot. I needed something to fill the space and thought of the Swirly Scribbles. I punched one each in Real Read and Whisper White.

Next Friday, I'll share the rest of the cards from the Project Life kit.

Creative Blessings!
