PAPER PUMPKIN - August - As Is

This was probably my favorite Paper Pumpkin Kit so far! Loved the colors, the stamp set... well, everything.

Here's a shot of the things we had to work with:

There were enough of everything to make 3 gift card pockets, 3 medium cards and 3 large cards. We also had wood embellishments, burlap ribbon, brown embroidery floss and Early Espresso Ink.

Here are the 3 As Is Cards for this round:

For this one, I did change things up a bit. They gave us the tutorial for just the pocket. I chose to add the pocket to the front of a Very Vanilla card base, using the burlap ribbon and a mat strip (provided) to turn the pocket into a full card.

The remaining two are 'as is':

I fell in love with working with the Burlap Ribbon. This is perfect for those fall cards - including the new fall step sets coming up in the Holiday Catalog (Available for ordering beginning September 1)

I just wish I'd made these BEFORE placing my order this morning. The Burlap Ribbon is #141487 on page 178 of the big catalog. You can bet more than one package is going on my October order.

Paper Pumpkin is an awesome program that brings everything you need to make quick cards, right to your door. Every box is like opening up a birthday or Christmas present. You don't know what's coming your way but you can bet you'll have fun and have cards on hand for those last minute occasions. Or whip the cards together in a flash and pop them in a mail to brighten someone's day. For $19.95+ tax (shipping is included in the price!) you will receive a new kit every month. You can cancel at any time

And now is the perfect time to try Paper Pumpkin. We have the BOGO offer through October 10th. Just click the icon on the sidebar. As always, if you have questions please email me.

My customers should be holding this amazing 55- page catalog in their hands very soon. I am so anxious to hear what your favorites are.  I know, personally, I had a hard time reigning in my spending - for the first go 'round. I'll be ordering more in the coming weeks. For now, I focused on what I wanted to work with immediately.

I apologize beforehand for the stickers on my cases and the way the dies are displayed. With my cataloging in place, I wanted to make sure these got cataloged before getting put away. I feared once they were put away I'd never get them cataloged. But this also shows how I store my dies. If they belong with a stamp set, the sheet is stored inside the case with the stamps.  (I will post my storage how-to soon)

So here we go...

First up, Halloween! My absolute favorite holiday. Let's start with the pretties.

12x12 Halloween Night Designer Series Paper, Baker Twine and Enamel Dots.

The bakers twine is sold as a set. All but two of the papers are reversible so you are seeing every pattern in the pack. The two that are not reversible are the Spider Web and the Starry Sky (they are actually dots - 5th from left)

Ghoulish Grunge (rubber)

I love the textures of these and look forward to accenting cards as well as mixed media pieces.

Spooky Fun (Photopolymer)

So many possibilities with this set. And there is a coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies

Spooky Fun is available at a great Bundle price!

Cardstock COLORS you'll want to have on hand to work with the Halloween Night Suite:

And.... Christmas is right around the corner! You'll want these items and more to make your holiday extra-special:

12x12 Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper
and Red Glitter embossing powder

Every sheet in this Designer Series Pack is reversable. Here you see each print. I love these papers! And wait til you see the possibilities with the red glitter embossing powder!

Cookie Cutter Christmas (Photopolymer)

I think this set is positively adorable! That image in the bottom left? Add the facial stamps (included) for a fun Teddy Bear! But wait.. there's more....

Cookie Cutter Builder Punch

This lets you punch out all of the large images, including the Reindeer! How fun! But wait, there's more! There is a Halloween set this punch also coordinates with. Oh yeah...

Jolly Friends (Photopolymer)

At first, I wasn't sure I'd like this set, but then a friend of mine showed me the Selfie tutorial on SplitcoastStampers and I just knew Santa or his elf needed to be traveling the world in the weeks leading up to Christmas, checking their Naughty or Nice list!

And to make life a little easier....

Jolly Friends Builder Punch

And one more Builder Punch Bundle to share....

Holly Berry Happiness (Photopolymer)

Holly Berry Happiness Builder Punch

With all these Bundle Alerts, you can see why my order was pretty hefty. LOL But there were still more I could not pass up! While these images are all fun on their own, everyone needs a words of cheer!

Tin of Tags (Photopolymer)

This is a fabulous set for adding that little something extra to your gift tags. If you want to really make your tags special, there is a Tin of Tags Project Kit. Everything you need to make 30 tags, including pre-tied bows and pre-made tassles! Plus a tin to keep them in until you're ready to use them.

Speaking of tags...

Merry Tags Framelits Dies

This set of dies coordinates with the Merriest Wishes (rubber) stamp set. I was already pushing my spending limit and had to cut somewhere. But I can tell you, if you like the Falling Snow embossing folder from last season's catalog, you will like the stamp set.  BUNDLE ALERT!

Hello December 2016 Project Life

I'm finally going to start the Project Life albums for my granddaughters. But, if you are not in to Project Life/ Scrapbooking, I have something in the works that you can put these to use. The top row are all identical except for the color. How would you use these?

And finally, This is one of my all-time favorite sets in the Holiday Catalog.

Christmas Magic.

This set is absolutely beautiful. If snowmen and trains are not your thing... Father Christmas makes an appearance in an equally beautiful set of his own.

Cardstock COLORS you'll want to have on hand:

REAL RED (this is available in 12x12 in the Holiday Catalog!)

Also, for items I did not pre-order to show you, but that you will love, these are additional cardstock colors to stock up on:

Cardstock colors alone should help you spend those Bonus Bucks you earned in July. Remember, August 31 is the deadline for using those. Don't let them expire!

If I can help with anything, please use the contact form on my sidebar and I'll be happy to assist.

Monday, August 8, 2016

I just wanted to let you know I am off for at least one more week following an extensive dental procedure.

I've received my pre-order from the Holiday catalog and am looking forward to showing you goodies in the coming weeks. Keep a note pad handy so you'll be able to write down the products you'll want to order beginning September 1.

Also, if you placed an order in July and got Bonus Bucks, remember to place an order before August 31 to use those! Do not wait until the last minute. If nothing else, replace Whisper White cardstock and adhesives to use with the items you'll be ordering from the Holiday catalog next month!

If I can help with anything, please use the contact form on the right side bar and I'll be happy to assist.
